Fletcher Law is devoted to serving clients throughout California in the area of Estate Planning. The foundation of my practice is to develop a long term relationship with the people I serve and to provide peace of mind, certainty and protection.
When you retain an Estate Planning Attorney you are choosing a counselor to design a plan for your family to follow after you are gone; you are choosing an advisor that your loved ones will depend upon during difficult times; and you are creating a relationship with your attorney that will last a lifetime.
Clients need estate planning services to ensure their affairs are in order in the event of incapacity or death. However, not all estate planning practices are the same. My practice focuses on delivering highly customized estate plans to meet unique family situations, assets, personal goals and values. Below is a description of just some of the services I provide.
Kylie made the process of setting up our family trust really easy. I was worried it would be expensive and complicated, but after just a few meetings, we had everything we needed and now our family is protected.Leah P.

Peace of Mind
Thoughtful Incapacity Planning. To ensure you are protected in the event you become unable to manage your affairs for any period of time. Incapacity is a major risk for everyone, regardless of age.
Comprehensive Attorney-drafted and Statutory Durable Powers of Attorney. Allows your spouse or another trusted person to sign documents and handle financial matters for you. These documents are particularly helpful if a mental or physical disability prevents you from managing your own affairs.
Advance Health Care Directive. Provides direction to physicians and family members regarding continuation of life support systems and other medical treatment preferences.
Revocable Living Trust Agreement. Eliminates probate and the need for conservatorship proceedings in regard to all assets transferred into the trust. The trust directs the disposition of your assets to your chosen beneficiaries.
Pour Over Will. Ensures all property is transferred to the chosen beneficiaries, even if an asset is not transferred to your revocable living trust during lifetime.
Comprehensive Nomination of Guardians. The person you name to be your child’s guardian will have the power to make legal and medical decisions for your child. You want to choose the right person and create a plan that is effective during your lifetime (in case you become incapactiated) and upon your death.
Beneficiary Trusts. Ensure that your assets are protected for your children. These trusts may include asset protection from lawsuits, creditors (in the event of financial hardship) or divorce. For clients who seek to maximize protection, we can craft trust solutions that preserve assets for generations.
Credit Shelter Trusts. For married couples who want to minimize estate tax or provide asset protection to each other, our carefully drafted Credit Shelter Trusts can do more than just meet the minimum legal requirements to reduce tax; we can build a fortress that protects your children and spouse from lawsuits and unintentional disinheritance.
